Magic Shield is a Powerup that, when active, gives you immortality.  Hits and strokes are simply ignored, and if you fall off a cliff or run directly into an obstacle, it will only remove the Magic Shield Powerup.  

When you have Magic Shield protection, the Enemies are powerless.
