Every you have a chance to rescue a certain amount of stolen Brimlings.  

Our sweet Brimlings are carried by Monsters and are not particularly happy about it.

When you kill the Monster, you will rescue one of the Brimlings.

Having rescued enough Brimlings, you get awarded the Day Reward.
